2025 is the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. Understanding, measuring and predicting noise in the quantum realm is of fundamental interest to the development of quantum devices and theories. 

Topics covered in the special session include:
– quantum shot noise and electron quantum optics in normal or hybrid devices
– fluctuations in superconducting quantum bits and Josephson devices
– high-frequency dynamics in the quantum regime
– quantum squeezing and entanglement
– noise in quantum materials

The Quantum Noise Session aims to establish links to the noise and fluctuations community in electronics, photonics and beyond. Learning concepts and technologies from each other will lead to mutually benefits and push quantum science forward!

When submitting your abstract on quantum noise and devices for ICNF2025, remember to indicate the fact that your submission falls within the scope of the special session in the abstract submission form!
