Extended paper submission
Submitting an extended paper for the special issue of Fluctuation and Noise Letters is not mandatory. If your abstract has been accepted, you can present your work in any case!
If you are willing to submit a paper for the FNL special issue, please note that your manuscript must comply with submission guidelines (https://worldscientific.com/page/fnl/submission-guidelines) especially in regards to the originality of content (section 4.e).
The manuscript must be prepared using the standard Fluctuation and noise Letters templates that can be downloaded from https://worldscientific.com/page/fnl/submission-guidelines
When your manuscript is ready, closely follow the procedure outlined below.
Please note: if your paper is accepted there will be no charge associated to the publictaion, unless you select the “open access” option.
Extended Paper submission guide (short version)
- With your manuscript ready, you need to login as an author in the Fluctuations and Noise Letters submission page. If you do not have an account, you need to create one (you shoudl have an account if you submitted the abstract).
- in the “Author Main Menu” page, click on “Submit New Manuscript”
- in the “Select Article Type” drop-down menu, select “Special Issue” (do not worry at this stage: the name of the special issue will be selected at a later time)
- upload your manuscript ; proceed to the next page
- in the Selection/Category drop-down menu, select the proper ICNF2025 track (only one from “ICNF2025 Acoustic Noise” down to “ICNF2025 Quantum Noise and Devices”) ; if unsure, select “ICNF2025”: the general managing editor will forward your submission to the proper handling editor.
- follow the instructions filling out all the subsequent forms; note that your submission will be “elaborated” by the system and that you need to provide a final approve.
