CALL FOR ABSTRACT

CALL FOR PAPERS

Informaton for authors

Deadline has been extended to March 7th!

Check table below!

The aim of the International Conference on Noise and Fluctuations  that will be held in Taormina (Italy) is to bring together researchers interested in theoretical and experimental aspects of fluctuations across a wide spectrum of scientific and technological fields.

Topics of interest

Topics of interest include:

  • Theory of noise, fluctuations and stochastic processes: classical, semi-classical, and quantum theory; chaos, random walk, and stochastic resonance;

  • Noise and fluctuations in electronic/photonic materials and devices: fundamental aspects, modeling and impact of technology;

  • Noise in electronic circuits and systems (including cryogenic applications): amplifiers, oscillators, imagers, memories etc.

  • Noise as probe for investigating quality and reliability of electron devices;

  • Noise and fluctuations in communication system, including security and criptography.

  • Noise in biological systems.

  • Noise in social and economic systems.

  • Noise measurement, instrumentation and characterization methods;

  • Variability effects (spatial fluctuations, mismatch, process variations etc.)

  • Other noise and fluctuations related topic not explicitly mentioned above.

Special sessions

A special seesion on “Quantum noise and devices” will be part of this year conference.  Please go to this page for more information.

Abstract and paper submission

Abstracts submitted for review should clearly state: the purpose of the work with its positioning with regard to the state of the art, specific new results and their impact.

Authors whose abstract will be accepted, will be invited to prepare a full paper for pubication on a dedicated special issue of Fluctuation and Noise Letters.

There will be no associated cost for the publication on Fluctuations and Noise Letters (unless authors specifically opt for the open access option).

Abstract and paper format

Abstract tamplates and detailed instructions for the preparation of the extended abstract are availble at this link

After abstract acceptance, the authors will prepare a full paper in accordance with the format and guidelines by Flucatuations and Noise Letters.

Instructuions for the submission of the extended abstract are available at this link.
